Assam To Withdraw Foreigner Tribunal Cases Against Indigenous Koch-Rajbongshi Community

In an unprecedented transfer, the Assam authorities has determined to withdraw instances in opposition to members of the Koch-Rajbongshi neighborhood that are pending within the Foreigners Tribunals. At the least 28,000 individuals stand to learn from this transfer.

The Assam authorities will even think about eradicating “D voter (uncertain voter)” tags in opposition to their names within the voters’ lists.

After the assembly, Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma informed reporters that 28,000 instances are pending within the Foreigners Tribunals throughout the state.

Dearness Allowance Hike

Flood Management

To strengthen embankment monitoring, the state authorities will arrange a power comprising younger individuals, with every unit consisting of 12-15 volunteers. The state authorities will equip them with important flood-fighting materials together with geo luggage, torchlight, raincoat, and gumboot.

The volunteers will oversee embankments spanning 8 to 12 km from April to October. On profitable completion of their service, the Chief Minister will award them certificates.
