At BJP Rally In UP, Rajnath Singh Faces Angry Slogans Over Jobs


New Delhi:

The stage is ready. Defence Minister Rajnath Singh is able to start his ballot speech in Uttar Pradesh however is checked by slogan-shouting youth from the stands who search jobs.

The Minister, who’s on stage, then enquires and is instructed that the youth need recruitment within the Military.

“Sena bharti chalu karo (Provoke recruitment in Military)”, “hamari maange poori karo (fulfil our demand)” slogans lease the air.

Mr Singh then tries to pacify the protesting youth, saying “hogi, hogi (Will probably be executed)”, “don’t worry”.

“Your fear is ours too. Attributable to coronavirus there have been just a few difficulties,” he explains in the course of the rally in Gonda district of the state.

Then everybody erupts into “Bharat Mata Ki Jai” at Mr Singh’s insistence, who’s now all smiles.

The BJP, which launched its manifesto final week, has promised jobs or self-employment alternatives to at the least one member of every household within the state.
