The discussions will contact on varied themes together with the enterprise and technological options of retail settlements utilizing a central bank digital currency (CBDC), the central financial institution stated in an announcement.
The BOJ has stated no choice has been made but on whether or not Japan will really concern a digital yen, which should be made by the federal government and parliament.
