In a submit on X, Mr. Kumar stated anganwadi employees (sevika) will now get ₹9,000, up from ₹7,000 they’d been receiving to this point.


Equally, the stipend for helpers (sahayika) has been hiked from ₹4,000 to ₹4,500, the CM stated, including “directions have been issued to the division involved”.
Mr. Kumar hailed the “huge position” performed by anganwadi sevikas and sahayikas in “enhancing the nourishment and general wellbeing of kids and pregnant girls”.
“Since we got here to energy in November 2005, numerous schemes have been launched for the welfare of kids and pregnant girls. Recognising the position performed by anganwadis within the implementation of those measures, we have now determined to incentivise them”, the JD(U) president added.
