Jammu and Kashmir BJP chief Sheikh Wasim, his father and brother had been killed by terrorists late Wednesday evening within the union territory’s Bandipore district.

The assault, and deaths, are being seen as a serious safety failure. Mr Wasim was supplied with a safety element however not one of the eight guards deployed had been current when the terrorists attacked.

The assault on Sheikh Wasim comes a day after the NIA (National Investigation Agency) arrested yet another individual in reference to the assault on CRPF troopers in J&K’s Pulwama district final yr.
