Bulk offers: Goldman Sachs laps up IndusInd Bank shares

MUMBAI: Companies comparable to IndusInd Bank, Care Ratings and Mangalam Cement witnessed bulk offers in Wednesday’s commerce.

For the day, Sensex closed 1.01 per cent or 310.21 factors decrease at 30,379.81, whereas the 50-share Nifty dropped 0.76 per cent or 68.55 factors to shut at 8,925.30.

Here’s who purchased what in among the key bulk offers of the day:


>> Baobab Global Fund bought 4,95,187 shares of Care Ratings at Rs 412.31 per share, whereas FPA International Value Fund purchased 5,18,883 shares at Rs 412.30 a share. Shares of Care Ratings closed 1.40 per cent larger at Rs 413.95 a share on the NSE.

>> Antara India Evergreen Fund purchased 2,11,313 shares of Deep Industries at Rs 60.50 a share from Plutus Terra India Fund. Deep Industries closed 13.13 per cent larger at Rs 65.50 on the NSE.

>> Goldman Sachs (Singapore) lapped up 41,00,000 shares of IndusInd at Rs 430.30 per share. IndusInd Bank closed 3.80 per cent larger at Rs 426 a share.

>> Shah Shreyansbhai Shantilal purchased 1,62,365 shares of Mangalam Cement at Rs 150.19 a share. Mangalam Cement shares closed 4.85 per cent decrease at Rs 151 a share.

>> Axis Trustee Services bought 177,67,115 shares of Reliance Capital at Rs 4.55 per share. Shah Chetan Rasiklal purchased 25,00,000 shares of the corporate at Rs 4.40 a share. Reliance Capital shares closed 5.38 per cent decrease at Rs 4.40 a share.

>> Axis Trustee Services bought 38,92,616 shares in Reliance Home Finance at Rs 0.75 a share. The shares closed flat at Rs 0.75 a chunk on the NSE.
