Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot has requested the centre to ship extra vaccines

The row between the Rajasthan authorities and the centre over sending sufficient COVID-19 vaccines to the state has escalated, with Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot claiming the centre gave “fully incorrect” information.
There is no such thing as a scarcity of vaccines in Rajasthan, the centre stated on Tuesday after the state stated it is going to run out of vaccines quickly if the centre doesn’t urgently ship extra provides.
“The Well being Ministry claimed that Rajasthan obtained 37.61 lakh vaccines and until yesterday 24.28 lakh vaccines have been administered. This information is totally incorrect. As of March 8, Rajasthan obtained 31,45,340 vaccines. Of those, 2,15,180 vaccines have been made obtainable to the Military,” Mr Gehlot tweeted in Hindi on Tuesday.

As of 8 March, 23,26,975 vaccines have been administered within the state. 1,62,888 vaccines acquired spoiled, which is lower than the ten per cent restrict allowed by the central authorities. Thus, on March 8, solely 4,40,297 vaccines have been obtainable within the state,” the Chief Minister tweeted.
