Who would be the Congress’s Chief Ministerial candidate for subsequent month’s Punjab elections – incumbent Charanjit Singh Channi or state unit boss Navjot Sidhu – the million-dollar query for the celebration could also be answered this week with chief Sonia Gandhi main talks, sources have instructed NDTV.
The Congress has been caught in an epic dilemma with the raging rivalry threatening the Congress marketing campaign to the extent that senior chief Rahul Gandhi declared this week that the celebration would certainly identify a contender, stressing, “Two individuals cannot lead, just one can.”
“We’ll fulfil your demand for a Chief Minister candidate as quickly as doable. Usually, we don’t declare a Chief Minister face but when Congress staff need, we are going to choose a face as properly. However we are going to seek the advice of Congress staff. They may resolve,” Rahul Gandhi stated in Jalandhar on Thursday.
The celebration, which guidelines Punjab, had earlier stated the choice could be taken solely after the February 20 election.
