Congress chief Ramesh Chennithala, MLA, has sought a Vigilance and Anti-Corruption Bureau (VACB) probe into the alleged corruption within the implementation of the Pradhana Manthri Kisan Urja Suraksha Evam Utthaan Mahabhiyaan (PM-KUSUM) scheme in Kerala by the Company for New and Renewable Power Analysis and Know-how (Anert).
In his grievance to Manoj Abraham, Director, VACB, on Saturday, Mr. Chennithala urged the VACB to register a case and provoke an in depth investigation into the tendering course of and different elements of the implementation of the Centrally supported scheme.
Mr. Chennithala reiterated his cost that prime Anert officers had been concerned within the manipulations within the collection of bidders for the PM-KUSUM scheme and the award of contract work’s price “with a view to acquire undue pecuniary features to the bidders as an entire and thereby brought on wrongful loss to authorities.”
Foul play alleged
