Cocoa fermentation centres to be set up at Ravulapalem, Ambajipeta in Konaseema

Principal Secretary for Meals Processing Chiranjeevi Chowdhary, introduced the institution of two cocoa fermentation and dryer centres at Ambajipeta and Ravulapalem in Dr. B. R. Ambedkar Konaseema district on Friday. 

Talking at a workshop on post-harvesting applied sciences in cocoa farming, Mr. Chiranjeevi Chowdari mentioned that the 2 centres can be operated by the Farmers’ Producers Organisations. District Collector R. Mahesh Kumar confirmed that the mandatory permissions for the 2 centres have already been obtained.
