Shut on the heels of short-term suspension of Rahul Gandhi’s Twitter account, the Congress on late Wednesday claimed that comparable motion was taken in opposition to the handles of 5 senior leaders, together with media head Randeep Surjewala.
The Twitter accounts of AICC basic secretary and former minister Ajay Maken, occasion’s whip in Lok Sabha Manickam Tagore, Assam in-charge and former Union minister Jitendra Singh and Mahila Congress president Sushmita Dev have been locked, the occasion mentioned.

“The checklist goes on. @Twitter locks @JitendraSAlwar and @manickamtagore and plenty of extra. Would not Modi Ji perceive that we @INCindia’ns have a legacy of preventing even from behind the locks of kaala paani,” he requested in one other tweet.
“He thinks the digital locks of Twitter will deter us from preventing for India,” he requested.
The Congress has accused Twitter of performing in opposition to Mr Gandhi’s account below stress from the federal government.
Mr Gandhi had tweeted photos with the household of a nine-year-old sufferer of alleged rape and homicide in Delhi final week.
The Nationwide Fee for Safety of Little one Rights (NCPCR) took cognisance of Mr Gandhi’s tweet and directed Twitter to behave in opposition to the Congress chief’s account for violating the privateness of a minor sufferer, mandated by the legal guidelines of the land.
