The Congress will maintain a slew of programmes, together with blood donation camps, sports activities and cultural occasions, throughout the nation to mark the 77th delivery anniversary of former Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi, the celebration’s youth wing stated on Thursday.
A particular picture exhibition paying tribute to him may also be organised in Delhi on the event on Friday, in keeping with a press release by the Indian Youth Congress (IYC).
Rajiv Gandhi, who served because the prime minister of the nation from 1984 to 1989, was born on August 20 in 1944. He was assassinated by the LTTE throughout an election marketing campaign in 1991.
