Restrictions on the functioning of the Delhi High Court and district courts will stay in place until May 31 in view of COVID-19 and solely pressing issues will probably be heard.
Earlier the restrictions had been in place until May 23.
The Administrative and General Supervision Committee of the High Court, headed by Chief Justice D N Patel, determined that restrictions can be in place until May 31 and that pressing issues would proceed to be heard by video conferencing.
“…the functioning of the High Court of Delhi shall continue to remain suspended till May 31 on same terms,” the executive order mentioned.
