The upgradation of Saksham/Spyder system for integration with Built-in Air Command and Management System will improve the air defence functionality, mentioned the MoD in an announcement.
AoN was additionally accorded for the procurement of Medium Altitude Lengthy Endurance (MALE) Remotely Piloted Plane (RPAs) for the three providers. The proposed MALE RPAs can carry a number of payloads and weapons and function at longer ranges for lengthy endurance missions.
