A semi-decomposed physique of an Indian Institute of Expertise (IIT) Kharagpur scholar was recovered from his hostel room on campus at this time. Police suspect the 23-year-old scholar, Faizan Ahmed, died by suicide.
The coed from Tinsukia in Assam had moved into the hostel just lately, in accordance IIT Kharagpur authorities.

Ahmed was a third-year scholar on the Mechanical Engineering Division in IIT Kharagpur. His household has been knowledgeable about his demise.
A number of incidents of deaths by suicide have shaken the campuses of India’s premier science and know-how institute in current months. Final month, two IIT college students had been discovered lifeless on two separate campuses.
On September 15, an undergraduate scholar was discovered lifeless at IIT Madras in Chennai in a suspected case of suicide. The coed, who was pursuing Aerospace Engineering, was within the fourth 12 months of the course. No suicide word was recovered.
