A minimum of 15 folks have been killed and a number of other have been injured in a stampede at New Delhi Railway Station on Saturday, attributable to a sudden rush of passengers who tried to board trains for the Maha Kumbh in Prayagraj.
In a press release, the Ministry of Railways stated a high-level inquiry has been ordered within the “unlucky incident”.
The injured have been rushed to Lok Nayak Jai Prakash Narain (LNJP) Hospital for remedy.
