DMK Set To Win In Tamil Nadu, Shows Poll Of Exit Polls


Tamil Nadu meeting election 2021: The ballot of exit polls are coming in now

Chennai:

The DMK is predicted to return to energy in Tamil Nadu, in accordance with a ballot of exit polls. MK Stalin’s DMK and allies are forecast to win a minimum of 160 seats, whereas the AIADMK and its allies are predicted to win 66 seats. TTV Dhinakaran’s AMMK is more likely to win 1 seat, in accordance with the ballot of exit polls.

Elections had been held to 234 seats within the Tamil Nadu legislative meeting.

This was the primary state election because the deaths of J Jayalalithaa (who died in 2016) and M Karunanidhi (who died in 2018) – each had been amongst Tamil Nadu’s most iconic political leaders, and their absence left an influence vacuum many raced to fill.

Actor Kamal Haasan and his Makkal Needhi Maiam (MNM) had a quite forgettable electoral debut within the 2019 common election – they didn’t win a single seat. He had stated he was extra assured this time. “We had been a nascent occasion for the Lok Sabha election… Now we’re precise fighters for the trigger,” Mr Haasan had advised NDTV.
