A Hindu group made a meals supply agent in Indore take away his Santa Claus costume whereas he was out to ship an order on Christmas.
A video of the incident, which has gone viral on social media, exhibits the Zomato supply agent being interrogated by Sumit Hardia, district convenor of the ‘Hindu Jagran Manch’.
“Are you delivering an order by dressing up as Santa Claus?”, Mr Hardia requested the person, to which the agent nodded and mentioned sure. He additional requested, “Do you ever go to folks’s houses dressed as Lord Ram on Diwali”? To this, the supply agent replied, “No, however now the corporate has requested me to put on this costume”.
The supply agent was then made to take away the costume.
Mr Hardia advised the supply man, “We’re Hindus, what message are we giving to kids. Is it vital that the message will solely be conveyed when you solely dress-up as Santa Claus. If you happen to actually need to ship a message, dress-up as Bhagat Singh, Chandrashekhar Azad.”
Within the video, Mr Hardia will also be heard saying that majority of meals is delivered to Hindus and that India is a Hindu rashtra (nation).
