Eight policemen in Uttar Pradesh’s Kanpur have been shot useless by some criminals just a few hours in the past, officers mentioned.

A senior police officer of the rank of deputy superintendent of police, three sub inspectors and 4 constables have been shot useless by criminals in Dikru village in Kanpur, about 150 km from state capital Lucknow. 

Teams from three police stations had gone to the village searching for a needed legal – Vikas Dubey – who has 60 circumstances registered in opposition to him. A raid was deliberate at his village after he was accused in a recent try to homicide case.
