Aurangabad:
Former Union minister and senior BJP chief Jaysingrao Gaikwad Patil resigned from the social gathering on Tuesday.
He despatched his resignation letter to Maharashtra BJP president Chandrakant Patil within the morning.
“I’m prepared to work for the social gathering, however the social gathering just isn’t giving me likelihood, therefore I took this step,” Gaikwad Patil, who lives in Aurangabad, informed PTI over the telephone.
In his letter to Chandrakant Patil, he mentioned he was resigning from the state BJP unit and in addition from the first membership of the social gathering.
The veteran chief mentioned he earlier served as a minister on the Centre in addition to in Maharashtra.
“I do not need to be a member of Parliament or member of the Legislative Meeting now. I want to work for strengthening the social gathering and I’m asking for such duty for a decade. However nonetheless, the social gathering did not give me an opportunity,” he claimed.
“The social gathering does not need those that have made efforts to boost the social gathering within the state,” he additional claimed.
When contacted, state BJP president Chandrakant Patil refused to touch upon the matter.
