Particular Job Power (STF) recovered one improvised explosive gadget (IED), stated officers on Thursday.
The IED was positioned in a polythene bag beneath a tree beside a lodge on Shahabad-Ambala Freeway.
One individual has been arrested in reference to the matter.
“An IED has been recovered by Particular Job Power (STF) STF in polythene beneath a tree beside a lodge on Shahabad-Ambala Freeway. One accused from Tarn Taran has been taken into custody; STF handed him over to Shahabad Police. Case registered; additional probe underway,” stated Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP), ASP Karan Goel.
