Farmers Occupy Tolls, Allow Vehicles To Pass Without Paying Fee. Video


Protesters shouted slogans and occupied toll close to NH-91 regardless of large police prescence.

Three weeks after 1000’s of farmers launched a large agitation in opposition to the brand new agricultural legal guidelines close to Delhi’s borders, dramatic visuals this afternoon confirmed the protesters occupying toll plazas close to the nationwide capital as autos had been allowed to go with out paying a price.

Regardless of large police presence on the entry factors and toll plazas in Uttar Pradesh’s Gautam Buddha Nagar district, a number of protesters – backed by the Bharatiya Kisan Union – occupied a toll plaza close to Nationwide Freeway-91 and allowed passage of autos with out paying toll price.

“Round 100 of us are right here. In Gautam Buddha Nagar, we occupied 4 toll plazas and allowed autos to go with out paying price. First, we blocked the toll from Kundli-Bulandshahr (in Uttar Pradesh). Then we moved to Palwal-Ghaziabad entry level,” a protester instructed reporters this afternoon.

Whilst policemen tried to carry dialogue with them, they continued to dam the checkpoint.

On Friday, the Bharatiya Kisaan Union, one of many 32 protesting farmers’ our bodies, moved the Supreme Court docket and requested it to scrap three agricultural legal guidelines handed by Parliament in September.
