FBI investigates Oracle cyberattack involving stolen patient data


The Federal Bureau of Investigation is probing the cyberattack at Oracle because the hackers broke into the cloud computing firm’s pc programs and stole patient data, Bloomberg News reported on Friday, citing an individual conversant in the matter.

Earlier this month, the corporate alerted some healthcare clients that someday after January 22, hackers accessed its servers and copied affected person knowledge to an outdoor location, the report mentioned.

The hackers stole affected person knowledge in an try and extort a number of medical suppliers in america, in accordance with the report.
