Chief of Defence Employees Gen Bipin Rawat, his spouse and 11 different individuals died within the Air Pressure chopper that crashed between Coimbatore and Sulur in Tamil Nadu this afternoon. 

The Indian Air Pressure confirmed on Twitter the casualties. The Chief of Defence Employees had taken a flight from Delhi to Sulur earlier at this time.

Gen Rawat was India’s first chief of defence employees, a place that was established in 2019.
