Google has received a deal to supply cloud companies to Elon Musk’s SpaceX, which has launched a slew of Starlink satellites to supply high-speed Web, it mentioned on Thursday.
SpaceX will arrange floor stations inside Google’s knowledge centres that connect with the Starlink satellites, enabling quick and safe Web companies through Google Cloud, the search large mentioned.
This service is anticipated to be accessible within the second half of 2021 for enterprise clients, the corporate mentioned.
The deal comes at a time when demand for cloud-computing companies has soared, with gamers like Microsoft and Amazon dominating the market. Cloud firms have additionally tapped into the telecoms sector, due to a leap in demand for 5G connectivity.
