The Division of Telecom has revised no objection certificates guidelines on the market or hire of worldwide roaming SIM playing cards to reinforce buyer safety, an official assertion stated on Tuesday.

“The revised coverage mandates the NOC holders to make provision for offering data relating to buyer care service, contact particulars, escalation matrix, itemised payments, data associated to tariff plans, providers provided, and many others. Provision has additionally been made to strengthen Billing and shopper grievance redressal mechanism to facilitate time certain decision of grievance by the NOC holders with provision for Appellate Authority in DoT,” the assertion stated.
