The earnings tax division on Friday prolonged the due date for submitting tax audit reviews for fiscal 2021-22 by 7 days until October 30.
“On consideration of difficulties confronted by the taxpayers and different stakeholders within the submitting of assorted reviews of audit for the Evaluation 12 months 2022-23, Central Board of Direct Taxes (CBDT) has determined to increase the due date for submitting of assorted reviews of audit for the Evaluation 12 months 2022-23, which was thirtieth September 2022 to 07th October 2022,” an official assertion mentioned.
Below the earnings tax act, these taxpayers who must get their accounts audited by a chartered accountant are required to file the tax audit report with the I-T division by September 30.
