Gujarat: AAP To Launch Agitation Demanding Free Electricity From Today

Ahmedabad:

The Aam Aadmi Occasion (AAP) will launch a state-wide marketing campaign demanding free electrical energy for individuals in Gujarat from Wednesday, a celebration chief mentioned right here.

The occasion has promised free electrical energy in Gujarat, as in Delhi, if voted to energy in upcoming Meeting elections.

“On June 15, the Gujarat AAP will maintain press conferences on the district degree. Afterwards, occasion employees will go to collector places of work and make representations demanding free electrical energy for the general public,” occasion’s state unit president Gopal Italia mentioned on Tuesday.

Between June 16-24, programmes like rallies, pad-yatra (protest marches), mashal yatra (torch processions) can be organised, he added.

This would be the first main marketing campaign of the occasion after it restructured its state organisation by appointing new office-bearers. The Arvind Kejriwal-led occasion claims to be the primary challenger to the ruling BJP within the state.

Mr Italia additionally mentioned that the occasion will quickly come out with one other record of office-bearers.
