A group of medical specialists who visited the household of 20-year-old girl who was allegedly gang raped and murdered in Hathras in Uttar Pradesh was not allowed to take medical examination of a member of the family who reportedly had Covid-related signs, a health care provider who was a part of the group mentioned. All family members refused to bear Covid assessments, he added.
The group had visited the household in Hathras after they obtained grievance that the member of the family was having signs of COVID-19, together with a cough and fever, he mentioned.
“We had obtained data that the member of the family was having fever and coughing. Since they’re receiving many guests, we determined to go to them and take their Covid assessments however the household refused,” the official added.
