In a shock announcement at CinemaCon, Sony revealed the solid and launch date for its extremely anticipated biopic on The Beatles.
Based on The Hollywood Reporter, director Sam Mendes took the stage to introduce the solid and make sure that each one 4 movies will hit theaters in April 2028.
The undertaking, which was first introduced final 12 months, will comprise 4 separate movies, every specializing in a unique member of the Fab 4.
The solid contains Paul Mescal as Paul McCartney, Harris Dickinson as John Lennon, Joseph Quinn as George Harrison, and Barry Keoghan as Ringo Starr.
“We’re not simply making one movie in regards to the Beatles — we’re making 4. Maybe this can be a likelihood to grasp them slightly extra deeply,” as quoted by The Hollywood Reporter.
Sony movie boss Tom Rothman described the undertaking as “the primary binge-able theatrical expertise.”
The movies are being produced by Mendes, Pippa Harris, and Julie Pastor for Neal Road Productions. The announcement was met with pleasure from the viewers, with the solid taking the stage to recite lyrics from the Beatles’ iconic music Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Membership Band, as per The Hollywood Reporter.
CinemaCon, held yearly from March 31 to April 3, is likely one of the most important occasions in Hollywood, showcasing upcoming initiatives to theatre house owners and the movie trade.
