Two males had been arrested in north Delhi’s Rohini with medicine value Rs 2 crore of their possession, police stated on Saturday.
Police had been tipped off to the presence of Manish, 34, a repeat offender, at Rohini.
They intercepted a automotive wherein Manish and his affiliate Tinku had been travelling and arrested them, stated Deputy Commissioner of Police (Crime) Vichitra Veer.
Round 1.3 kg of fine-quality heroin, value round Rs 2 crore within the worldwide market, was recovered from the 2, he stated.
Manish, a resident of Nand Nagri in east Delhi, was concerned in a theft at Lahori Gate in 2014 and spent 5 years in jail.
After his launch in 2019, he received concerned in playing. Having suffered losses, he began promoting psychotropic substances in Delhi-NCR, stated Veer.
The second accused, Tinku, 34, is a resident of Shahdara and a childhood pal of Manish. He was earlier arrested in a case below the Excise Act.
