A case has been registered in opposition to unidentified folks for desecrating idols at a temple following a criticism by priest Anil Kumar.

Unidentified miscreants desecrated some idols at a temple in neighbouring Shamli district in western Uttar Pradesh, police mentioned on Saturday.
The incident passed off in Kheri Bairagi village on Friday, they mentioned.
A case has been registered in opposition to unidentified folks following a criticism by temple priest Anil Kumar, police mentioned.
Security has been tightened within the village, they added.
