Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman has tabled her eighth consecutive Union Finances presentation within the Lok Sabha at 11 AM. Earlier, Sitharaman visited President Droupadi Murmu for her signature on the Finances. The Union Cupboard has authorised the Finances. In her speech, the Finance Minister introduced that the federal government will arrange an City Problem Fund of ₹1 lakh crore to finance as much as 25 % of bankable initiatives and has allotted ₹10,000 crore for 2025-26.
