INDIA alliance companions in Jharkhand are set for a “pleasant battle” in three meeting seats within the upcoming meeting polls, its leaders stated on Saturday.

JMM and CPI-ML have already determined to go for a pleasant combat in Dhanwar meeting seat, whereas Congress and RJD are nonetheless making an attempt to keep away from a pleasant contest within the Chhattarpur and Bishrampur seats, they stated at a joint press convention right here.

The elections to the 81-member Jharkhand Meeting will happen in two phases on November 13 and 20, with counting of votes to happen on November 23.

As many as 1,211 candidates are within the fray for the 81 meeting seats after completion of nomination withdrawal workouts for each phases of the election.

The JMM has fielded candidates in 43 Meeting seats, Congress in 30 seats, RJD from six and CPI-ML in 4 seats.

“JMM, Congress, RJD and CPI-ML are collectively contesting the Jharkhand polls beneath the INDIA bloc. Excluding three seats – Chhatarpur, Bishrampur and Dhanwar – seat-sharing preparations have been settled for all of the constituencies within the alliance. The JMM has determined to go for a pleasant contest with CPI-ML in Dhanwar seat,” JMM common secretary Vinod Pandey informed reporters.

RJD and Congress have fielded their candidates from Chhatarpur and Bishrampur seats.

“Discussions are nonetheless happening to kind out the problem on each the seats. We hope to see a lead to a day or two,” Mr Pandey stated, including that the RJD was given six seats, whereas the CPI-ML received three seats beneath the INDIA bloc.
