Indian Railways Will Never Be Privatised: Piyush Goyal In Lok Sabha

Railways Minister Piyush Goyal in the present day asserted that Indian Railways won’t ever be privatised however stated non-public funding ought to be inspired for extra environment friendly functioning.

“Indian Railways won’t ever be privatised. It’s a property of each Indian and can stay so,” the minister stated, including that it’ll stay with the Authorities of India.

Mr Goyal stated the Modi authorities has hiked funding in railways to Rs 2.15 lakh crore in 2021-22 fiscal, from Rs 1.5 lakh crore in 2019-20 fiscal.
