India’s Wheat Production Set To Touch New Record In 2022-2023 Crop Year

Wheat manufacturing declined to 107.74 million tonnes as a result of warmth waves in key rising states within the 2021-22 crop 12 months.

The earlier document of 109.59 million tonne in wheat output was achieved in the course of the 2020-21 crop 12 months.

Sowing of wheat, the principle rabi (winter) crop, had begun from October onwards, whereas harvesting is anticipated to recover from by June 15 this 12 months.

The entire foodgrain manufacturing can be estimated to the touch a document 330.53 million tonne within the 2022-23 crop 12 months towards the precise output of 315.61 million tonnes within the earlier crop 12 months, as per the third estimate.
