A BJP MLA in Uttar Pradesh’s Bijnor known as to inaugurate a 7-km highway constructed at a value of Rs 1.16 crore discovered herself in a spot when a coconut-cracking ritual ended up breaking apart the highway as an alternative.
A livid Suchi Mausam Chaudhary, the MLA from Bijnor Sadar constituency, waited on the spot for 3 hours for a staff of officers to reach and take samples of the highway to analyze.

“The irrigation division was constructing a highway for Rs 1.16 crore. The highway is 7.5 km lengthy. I used to be requested to inaugurate the highway. After I acquired there and tried to interrupt a coconut, the coconut didn’t break. However buts of the highway got here off,” she instructed reporters.
“I had it checked and located the development to be poor. The work was less than the usual. We stopped the inauguration. I spoke to the District Justice of the Peace. The DM fashioned a three-member staff. The fabric was despatched for sampling and we have been there for nearly three hours.,” Ms Chaudhary mentioned.
“Motion will probably be taken towards these accountable… they are going to face strict motion. The DM has assured me that the highway will probably be constructed to spec,” she added.
