Bhupesh Baghel slams BJP leaders on assertion over alleged love jihad. (FILE)

Slamming the Bharatiya Janata Get together-led states, Chhattisgarh Chief Minister and senior Congress chief Bhupesh Baghel on Saturday requested whether or not inter-religion marriages of relations of BJP leaders will fall below the definition of ”love jihad”.
“Relations of a number of BJP leaders have additionally carried out inter-religion marriages. I ask BJP leaders if these marriages come below the definition of ”love jihad”?” requested Mr Baghel whereas addressing media.
The assertion comes after Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath had not too long ago introduced that his authorities will carry a strict legislation to curb “love jihad” and forcible non secular conversion. Previous to this, Shivraj Singh Chouhan-led BJP authorities in Madhya Pradesh had stated the state would quickly have a legislation towards ”love jihad”.
