Exterior Affairs Minister S Jaishankar on Wednesday (September 25, 2025) hosted a gathering of the International Ministers of the Discussion board for India–Pacific Islands Cooperation, reaffirming a “people-centric” agenda emphasising well being, know-how and capability constructing.

The assembly happened on the sidelines of the eightieth session of the United Nations Basic Meeting.

“Delighted to host the FIPIC International Ministers Assembly right now in New York. Glad to notice that the 12-point motion plan introduced by PM @narendramodi on the FIPIC-III Summit is progressing nicely,” Mr. Jaishankar stated in a publish on X.

On the third summit of the FIPIC in 2023, Prime Minister Narendra Modi unveiled a 12-point growth plan for the Pacific Island nations in a spread of areas together with healthcare, renewable vitality and cyber-security.
