An military jawan was killed and three others have been critically injured throughout unprovoked ceasefire violation by the Pakistan Army alongside the road of management in Poonch district of Jammu and Kashmir.
According to sources, Pakistani forces Pakistan resorted to heavy firing and shelling in Shahpur-Kerni sector on Saturday night time, drawing sturdy retaliation by the Indian Army.
In the incident, Sepoy Lungambui Abonmei and three different Army personnel have been injured and have been instantly evacuated to hospital. Lungambui Abonmei died throughout therapy, the officers stated.
“Pakistan Army resorted to unprovoked ceasefire violation on the LoC in Poonch sector on Saturday (night). Own troops responded strongly to the enemy fire and in the incident, Sepoy Lungambui Abonmei was critically injured and later died due to his injuries,” a defence spokesman stated.
He stated sepoy Abonmei was a courageous, extremely motivated and a honest soldier.

This is the third casualty within the Pakistani firing and shelling on ahead posts and villages within the twin districts of Poonch and Rajouri this month.

“On 14 Jun 2020, in the morning hours, Pakistan initiated an unprovoked Ceasefire Violation (CFV) along the LoC in Rampur by firing mortars and other weapons,” defence spokesperson Col Rajesh Kalia stated. This is the second ceasefire violation by Pakistani troops in Rampur sector and the third within the north Kashmir district within the final three days.
On June 4, havaldar P Mathiazhagan fell to Pakistani firing in Sunderbani sector of Rajouri district, whereas on June 10, Naik Gurcharan Singh misplaced his life in an identical incident in Rajouri sector.
