J&K Lieutenant Governor’s Advisor Resigns, Likely To Get Key Role In BJP

Jammu:

Farooq Khan, an advisor to Jammu and Kashmir Lt Governor Manoj Sinha, submitted his resignation on Sunday night, officers stated.

Mr Khan, a retired IPS officer who was instrumental in curbing terrorism in Jammu and Kashmir within the Nineteen Nineties, is being given “necessary task” within the BJP, the officers stated.

He’s prone to be assigned the accountability of getting ready the occasion for meeting elections within the union territory.

He had earlier served as a nationwide secretary of the BJP and held varied posts within the occasion’s minority cell.

Although the ballot schedule has not been introduced but, the officers count on that the elections can be held after October following completion of the continued delimitation train by Might.
