JSW Group to invest Rs 1.2 lakh crore in Karnataka

Mumbai: The JSW Group will make investments ₹1.2 lakh crore in Karnataka throughout its metal, cement, paints, infrastructure and vitality companies, chairman Sajjan Jindal introduced in Bengaluru.

“I’m proud to announce that right now we’re signing an MOU of ₹100,000 crore, and together with the continued investments, JSW will probably be investing near ₹1.2 lakh crore on this state of Karnataka over the following few years, which is able to present 1000’s of employment alternatives within the state,” he mentioned.

The Mumbai-based group will probably be investing ₹43,000 crore in its metal business-JSW Metal-which is the nation’s largest producer of metal. It plans to broaden its plant in Vijayanagar, which presently has the capability to provide 12 million tonne of metal every year, to the world’s largest and most superior metal plant. In its vitality enterprise, the group will make investments ₹56,000 crore.
