Vice President Kamala Harris held presidential powers for a complete of 1 hour and 25 minutes whereas President Joe Biden was underneath anesthetic, the White Home mentioned Friday.
The White Home press workplace mentioned that official letters to Congress declaring the non permanent switch of energy have been despatched at 10:10 am (1510 GMT).
“The president resumed his duties at 11:35 am,” (1635 GMT), the White Home mentioned in an announcement.
