Las Vegas Market introduced its first-ever Build the Room: Virtual Showhouse, a mission during which 12 well-known designers use cross-category exhibitor product to create a show-stopping room.
The program, which can quickly be stay on the lasvegasmarket.com web site, involves life throughout two hour-long webinars on Aug. 20 and Aug. 27 when designers element the concepts and inspirations behind their respective rooms.
“Our Build the Room designers were given no budget or style restrictions, resulting in carte blanche creativity for their concepts,” stated Dorothy Belshaw, government vice chairman, chief advertising and marketing and digital officer for International Market Centers. “The Virtual Showhouse is an imaginative – and fun – way to showcase the breadth and depth of cross-category products available at the Las Vegas Market.”
Participating designers embody Britany Simon of Britany Simon Design House (lounge); Denise Morrison of Denise Morrison Interiors (master suite); Jannicke Ramsø of Tiny Little Pads (ladies room); Jennifer Leonard of Nifelle Design (master suite); Kate Lester of Kate Lester Interiors (lounge); Keia McSwain of Kimberly + Cameron Interiors & BIDN (eating parlor); Kerrie Kelly, FASID, of Kerrie Kelly Design Lab (house workplace); Lauren O’Connor of Sanctuary Design, Inc. (kitchen); Nicole Salceda of Eye For Pretty Interiors (lounge); Nicole Yee of NY Interiors (household room); Rhonda E. Peterson of Rhonda Peterson & Associates (teen room); and Wendy Glaister of Wendy Glaister Interiors (house workplace).
