Eleven individuals have died and plenty of feared injured in a lightning strike on the twelfth century Amer Palace close to Jaipur. The incident occurred when individuals have been taking selfies at a watch tower amid rain within the Rajasthan capital.
Based on experiences, dozens of individuals had been current on the watch tower when the lightning struck. Numerous them sustained accidents as they jumped off the watch tower in panic. Twenty-seven individuals are reported to have been on the watch tower and the fort wall when the incident occurred.
Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot has introduced a compensation of Rs 5 lakh for the households of these killed.
