A Congress MLA from Madhya Pradesh’s Betul district on Friday accused the police of spying on politicians, law enforcement officials, journalists and businessmen and sought an inquiry into the matter.

Extra Superintendent of Police (ASP) Neeraj Soni, nonetheless, denied the declare and dubbed the fees levelled by Congress MLA Nilay Vinod Daga towards the police as “baseless”.
