Madras University professors call for bureaucrat to be appointed registrar

Senior professors and former officers of the College of Madras have recommended that the Tamil Nadu Increased Schooling division set up a bureaucrat as the following registrar of the establishment. The current registrar’s tenure ends on June 25, 2025.

There are precedents to having a bureaucrat as registrar, stated a former professor. An academician was appointed as registrar after the college’s functioning improved, he stated.

A former assistant registrar, who has labored with three Vice-Chancellors, stated that bureaucrats had been introduced in on three totally different events prior to now. “Okay.
