A Navi Mumbai man has been arrested for allegedly molesting and raping his two minor daughters

A 47-year-old man has been arrested for allegedly molesting and raping his two minor daughters at their home in Navi Mumbai, police mentioned in the present day.
The accused, a widower, is a driver by occupation.
As per the police case or FIR, the accused used to molest his 12-year-old daughter and rape one other daughter aged 13. Police are questioning the eldest daughter, 17, concerning the accused, police inspector Ravindra Patil instructed information company Press Belief of India.
The accused used to threaten his daughter with dire penalties in the event that they disclosed the matter to anybody, he mentioned.
He has been charged below sections 354 (Outraging modesty of a girl) and 376 (Punishment for rape) of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) and below provisions of the Safety of Youngsters from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act, the policeman mentioned.
