The Uttar Police police has arrested a 24-year-old man for allegedly hacking into the Election Fee of India (ECI) web site and creating lots of of pretend voter IDs, officers stated Friday.
Vipul Saini, who has a Bachelor of Pc Functions (BCA) diploma, was arrested Thursday from Saharanpur district.
Throughout preliminary investigation, police discovered that Saini labored on the behest of an individual named Armaan Malik from Madhya Pradesh, and created over 10,000 pretend voter IDs over three months.
Saharanpur Senior Superintendent of Police S Channappa instructed PTI that Saini was paid Rs 100-200 per ID and when his checking account was examined after the arrest, the police discovered Rs 60 lakh deposited in it.
