Man Thrashes, Chokes 1-Year-Old Stepdaughter To Death In Rajasthan: Cops

A person allegedly thrashed and chocked his one-year-old stepdaughter to demise in Kota on Monday evening and fled from the spot on Tuesday morning, police mentioned.

He was allegedly irked at his sleep getting disturbed when the child cried, they mentioned.

When the child didn’t rise up on Tuesday morning, her mom took her to the hospital, the place medical doctors declared her introduced useless.

Based on police, the child’s mom had left her first husband and was residing with accused Jittu, a every day wage labourer within the metropolis. He continuously acquired irritated at her crying. The infant bore marks of beating on her lips, cheeks and toes.

The mom alleged within the criticism that Jittu thrashed and choked her daughter to demise on late Monday evening, Circle Inspector on the Udhyog Nagar police station Jitendra Singh mentioned.

Police have lodged a case of homicide in opposition to the accused and efforts are underway to catch him, he added.
